The Learning Technology Center offers a workshop on digital storytelling for UWM faculty and staff.
Digital storytelling provides a narrative platform for delivering course content in new and effective ways. In addition to instructor-driven content, students can be taught to use digital storytelling techniques to present research and apply concepts. During this 2.5 hour workshop, participants will learn strategies for transforming traditional course material into brief narrative presentations. Participants will also use images and audio materials to construct a three to five minute digital story, using software such as Soundslide and Audacity. These applications are both Mac and PC compatible.
This workshop is part of the UWM Faculty Development Program for preparing faculty for online and blended course instruction.
